Open Question: My mom has this blister-like thing on her toe?

A few months ago, she had the ball at her feet foot pain, and now she could have a foot in her and her pain at the top of the big toe blister wart disappeared, but the blisters / warts things to hurt her. It is almost like a purple color. What do you think it is? How could she do? This is really strange.
