Open Question: whats wrong with my foot?

Please help! I have a race this coming weekend and I havent be able to play for some time. I found the injured three weeks ago playing football is wrong ball, knowing every time I kicked the ball with the instep or laces i have a sharp pain in my left ankle slightly. I know it's no problem with the bones, because it's when I run a fine or to give a pass, but it hurt me to play the shoelaces.
